📌 1999-2000: My Leadership Journey as All College Chairman, Kanyakumari District

                In 1999-2000, I was honored to be elected as the All College Chairman of Kanyakumari District, representing students across multiple institutions. This role gave me the opportunity to voice student concerns, organize events, and lead initiatives that empowered young minds. It was here that I truly understood the power of leadership, unity, and collective action. This experience not only strengthened my ability to bring people together but also laid the foundation for my commitment to public service and social change.

📌 2001: My Journey in Grassroots Politics – Gandhipuram Panchayat Elections

               In 2001, I took a bold step into electoral politics by contesting for the President position in Gandhipuram Panchayat Elections. This was a defining moment in my journey, allowing me to directly engage with the people, listen to their concerns, and understand the real challenges faced by rural communities. Contesting in this election strengthened my commitment to public service, reinforcing my belief that true leadership begins at the grassroots level. This experience shaped my vision for transparent governance and people-centric development, which continues to drive my mission today.

📌 2021: A Resounding Victory – Elected as Nagercoil Corporation Councillor (Ward 46)

                In 2021, I contested as an Independent Candidate for the Nagercoil Corporation Councillor (Ward 46) position, driven by my unwavering commitment to serve the people. With the overwhelming support and trust of my constituents, I secured a decisive victory, ensuring that all my opponents lost their deposits. This victory was not just a personal achievement but a testament to the people's faith in my leadership. It reinforced my mission to bring transparent governance, development, and people-centric policies to Nagercoil, a commitment that continues to guide my journey in public service.

With a heart dedicated to public service, I have walked alongside my people, understanding their struggles, dreams, and aspirations. From being a student leader to serving as a Nagercoil Corporation Councillor, my journey has been one of relentless service, unwavering determination, and a deep commitment to progress.

A leader’s true strength lies in his vision for the people and his actions toward progress. My mission is to build a strong, sustainable, and prosperous Nagercoil by focusing on key areas of development.

Infrastructure and urban development are essential for a thriving city. I am committed to modernizing roads, drainage systems, and urban facilities to transform Nagercoil into a smart and sustainable city. Unfinished projects will be completed, and new initiatives will be introduced to enhance water supply, waste management, and public amenities. Additionally, strengthening public transport will ensure smooth connectivity and convenience for all.

Preserving our spiritual and historical legacy is equally important. Nagercoil is home to centuries-old temples, many of which require urgent restoration. I will work towards securing government and private funding to renovate these temples and revive temple festivals, boosting spiritual tourism and local business opportunities.

Education and employment are the pillars of progress. While Nagercoil has been a hub for academic excellence, many talented youth still struggle with unemployment. I will push for government-funded skill development programs, startup incubators, and corporate partnerships to create new job opportunities. Schools and colleges will receive funding for infrastructure improvement and digital learning initiatives, ensuring that every student gets access to quality education.

Public welfare and social empowerment are at the heart of my mission. I will ensure the proper implementation of central and state government welfare schemes for farmers, women, youth, and senior citizens. Healthcare is a fundamental right, and I will initiate affordable healthcare programs and public health awareness campaigns to improve the quality of life for the underprivileged. Women’s empowerment will be a key focus, with initiatives providing financial support, self-employment training, and safety measures to uplift and protect women in our community.

My vision for Nagercoil is one of growth, prosperity, and inclusivity. Together, we can build a stronger, more developed, and progressive city, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive. Join me in this mission to transform Nagercoil for the better!
